Mount Buffalo National Park offers safe and accessible tobogganing and snow play areas set amidst the spectacular and unique granite landscape of Mount Buffalo plateau.
Tobogganing is great family fun but can be quite dangerous if care is not taken.
Where to go Tobogganing
Tobogganing and snow play areas within Mount Buffalo National Park are
set-aside to provide visitors with the safest and most effective slopes to enjoy tobogganing and other snow play activities.
The designated toboggan areas are identified by signage and fencing. The fencing ensures safe speeds are maintained and hazards are minimised.
Cresta Valley Toboggan areas
Located at the southern end of the plateau, 34 km from Porepunkah, Cresta Valley at an altitude of
1500 metres has Mount Buffalo's main toboggan slope located adjacent to the car park. This toboggan slope is regularly groomed and well signed.
There is also a second flatter toboggan slope to the right of the main slope.
